The Between the Mountains and the Sea – An Exhibition presenting the Extraordinary Heritage and History of Lands in Far Eastern Albany District two-week exhibition will feature a 30-minute film (recurringly played each day) showcasing the area known as Wellstead District, the eastern lands of the City of Albany. The film will present an insight into the culture, history and scenic beauty of the City of Albany’s largest rural district along with a display of many stories and special items including; historical photos, art, feather banners, historical objects and insights into the Districts unique biodiversity.

There will be a ‘Sharing Stories’ programme with guest speakers (including Traditional Custodians, Agricultural Settlers and todays Farmers) about their connections to the land and a look at the future challenges of climate change, environmental/community health, cultural protection, market changeability and long-term sustainability.
