About the Event
The Albany Agricultural Show is an iconic Albany event that promotes industry and produce throughout the Great Southern. With numerous exhibitions, displays and competitions of livestock, home industries and hobbies to see, it is an entertaining 2-day event for the community of Albany.
This year’s show features an exciting range of displays and activities for all ages. Visitors can enjoy exhibitions of cooking, woodcraft, photography, craft, horticulture, and beautifully decorated cakes. There will be a wide variety of animal displays and competitions including the fan favourite Log Chop, as well as horse events and sheep dog trials. Vintage machinery will also be on display, showcasing the region’s rich agricultural history. Loads of food, market, and trade stalls will fill the grounds, offering something to suit every taste.
One of the major highlights of the event is the spectacular fireworks display on Friday night at 8pm, sure to delight the whole family. With so much to see and do, there’s truly something for everyone at the Albany Show. Don’t miss this fantastic community celebration.
