About the Event
The Albany Classic Around the Houses returned to the streets of the CBD in 2026, celebrating the event's 90th anniversary with another spectacular showcase of historic motorsport.
Thousands of spectators lined the iconic street circuit to watch an impressive field of competition vehicles, from vintage wire wheels and post-vintage classics to open wheel racers and powerful muscle cars. The event once again captured the excitement and nostalgia of motorsport's golden eras while honouring Albany's rich racing heritage.
Proudly organised by the Albany Classic Motorsport Club Inc. and the Vintage Sports Car Club of WA Inc., the milestone event combined heritage, community spirit and high-octane competition, cementing its place as one of Western Australia's premier historic motorsport festivals.
