About the Event
Throughout July 2026, the Albany Maritime Festival brought the city’s coastal stories and seafaring heritage to life through a diverse month-long program. Live music, exhibitions, film screenings, markets, talks, food experiences and family activities were presented across venues throughout Albany. From maritime traditions and historical collections to contemporary art and waterfront entertainment, the festival offered many ways for locals and visitors to explore Albany’s enduring relationship with the sea during the heart of winter.
