About the Event
Thousands of community members gathered at Binalup / Middleton Beach for the 2026 Binalup / Middleton Beach Festival, enjoying a day of connection, recognition and family-friendly fun.
The day began with a community breakfast by the beach, followed by the Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony and Citizen of the Year Awards, which welcomed new citizens and recognised outstanding contributions to the Albany community.
From late morning, the festival came alive with a range of free activities, entertainment and live music, providing something for all ages. Families enjoyed a vibrant afternoon of fun and community spirit, celebrating what it means to be part of the Albany community.
