About the Event
Whether you are new to drawing or have years of experience, this hands-on graphite drawing workshop offers something for every skill level.
Join exhibiting artist Erin Coates as she guides you through the techniques and creative process behind graphite drawing. You will explore observation, composition, lighting and shading while experimenting with techniques including hatching, stippling, blending and tonal drawing.
Working from objects, bones and reference imagery, participants will create their own detailed graphite drawing while receiving individual guidance throughout the intensive session. You will leave with practical skills to continue developing your drawing at home.
All materials are provided, and each participant will receive a selection of graphite drawing supplies to take home, including a 12 piece graphite pencil set, making it easy to continue practicing and building your skills long after the workshop.
