Green Fair on the Square brought the community together for a fun-filled day of sustainability, showcasing practical ways to reduce waste, care for the environment and embrace more sustainable living.
Held in Albany Town Square, the free family event featured a wide range of interactive activities, including nature-based crafts, upcycled lantern making, giant lawn games, live entertainment from the Eco Faeries and educational displays highlighting the City of Albany's waste and sustainability initiatives. Visitors also enjoyed guest speakers, a clothing swap, pre-loved book sale, recycling and re-use information, and the popular native plant giveaway.
The event encouraged people of all ages to learn new skills, connect with local environmental organisations and discover simple ways to make a positive impact on the environment, reinforcing Albany's commitment to a more sustainable future.
