About the Event
King River Hall is set to receive a vibrant new addition throughout Albany 2026! The project will develop and install a large mural on the exterior of the hall, celebrating the unique local flora and fauna endemic to the area. Visitors will be able to explore nearby bush trails, where markers will provide the common, scientific and Aboriginal names of the plants and animals depicted in the mural.
This exciting initiative aims to support the local trail networks, encourage exploration, and offer educational opportunities for both residents and visitors.
Led by Project Manager and Artist Karlee Bertola, this vibrant mural is a true community project, designed and delivered by the people of Albany.
