About the Event
The Oyster Harbour Catchment Group is commemorating 2026 with a day of activities, talks and entertainment on the shores of the Harbour. Visitors can join experts for lively discussions on the past, present and future of local landcare, with something for all ages to enjoy under a big marquee.
Interactive displays will showcase our impact through detailing a selection of key programs and projects out of over 140 completed so far.
A series of conversations will reflect on caring for Country with Menang Noongar representatives; the strength of community advocating for environment amid the challenges of agriculture, industry and urbanisation; and a vision for what the future can look like when we continue to care for nature.
With local entertainment, kids’ activities, partner organisation stalls, the water science monitoring boat Paarndi on display and ticketed boat tours of the harbour this event will have something for everyone while highlighting the importance of the Great Southern’s unique natural environment.
