First Lights - Kinjarling transformed Albany skies over three consecutive nights last weekend, bringing light, sound and storytelling to the city.
Using cutting-edge drone technology, the event brought ancient Menang Noongar narratives to life, sharing stories passed down by Menang Elders.
Each night presented a unique story, blending culture, landscape and state-of-the-art drone choreography to illuminate thousands of years of connection to Country and the rich history of Albany.
First Lights - Kinjarling attracted approximately 27,000 individuals to Anzac Peace Park across the weekend with an immersive experience that celebrated Albany as a place where stories meet — honouring the world’s oldest living culture while creating a memorable shared moment for the community.
